Christ Centered Volleyball Program
The Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association (GCAA) is a Christian athletic organization designed to
provide homeschooled students in and around Cabarrus County, North Carolina the opportunity to
play on a competitive sports team. Our program strives to provide a Christian environment that
promotes spiritual and character growth that honors and glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ through competitive athletics.
Team Goals
Our volleyball program aims to;
1. Provide an environment that fosters growth in each player – as Christians, young ladies, athletes, students and as citizens.
2. Provide a place for players and families to grow and increase their volleyball knowledge.
3. Increase the skill level of the players at the middle school and high school level.
Our intention is to provide a solid foundation of fundamental and technical skills to help participants develop, not only as athletes, but also as individuals. This is achieved by teaching positive lifelong character traits including sportsmanship, leadership, ethics, etc.
We are committed to providing the best possible environment for our volleyball players to reach their maximum playing potential through excellence in coaching and community support. Our players will be challenged to excel not only for their own personal growth but also for the betterment of their team, the organization and their communities.

Seeking Parent Volunteers for Volleyball
This program is a non-profit organization and bases its fees on the expected cost of running a successful team volleyball program in a given year. The fee that is paid goes toward covering the following:
* Team registration fees * Tournament entry fees * Official fees * Facility rental costs * Training
equipment * Administrative costs and supplies * Uniform Costs * Miscellaneous expenses
We aim to always keep the cost of playing to a minimum and conduct multiple fund raisers to provide the opportunity to reduce the costs associated with running the program as much as possible. Fees will not be refunded for players who choose to leave before the end of the season. Fees do not cover the cost of travel, hotel accommodations or food that a player may need during a game/tournament.
There is also a $25 GCAA Annual Membership fee per player.
